On Vacation

Posted by Wiiporter Jun. 28, 2008 @ 10:48 PM EDT

I'm in Duck, North Carolina, and it is GREAT! The weather is always perfect, there are great restaurants- I just went to this place called Pine Island Diner, and they have AMAZING baked potatoes- and the water is fantastic - cold, but fantastic nonetheless. It's a great area to vacate in and I heavily recommend it if your ever in need of a getaway or whatever.

Also, I am happy.

UGH

Posted by Wiiporter Jun. 16, 2008 @ 12:13 PM EDT

(Late, I know, but I wasn't paying attention, and this subject deserves a little more than a *facepalm*)

Okay, upon reading the Monthly Game Winners I noticed something insanely insane. HOW DOES A GODDAMN RUN OF THE MILL HENTAI GAME WITH NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT IT AT ALL WIN 5TH?!
Yes, I play 'Mature' games, on occasion, what of it?
Anyway, if the fucking top dogs (meaning the big voters, I know Tom and Crew aren't responsible) can't pick a fucking good game or movie for monthly, they should have their monthly voting privileges taken away, because I will not stand here and watch sex overcome quality.
Also, YES, JESUS CHRIST, I know that everyone who isn't an erect dick has put in there two cents on this nonsense, but I have to speak my piece, because Newgrounds is not a goddamn Hentai website: ITS. A. FUCKING. FLASH. WEBSITE. Big tits and shitty sex games will not overcome quality work!
OH WAIT. IT JUST FUCKING DID. GOOD JOB, VOTERS. VERY CRITICAL.

PS: All the parodies in the top five were also bad. Brawl Taunts, really?

GainSoap 3 Collab

Posted by Wiiporter Jun. 14, 2008 @ 1:31 PM EDT

I participated. Thus I am worn out today. Here is my part:

Yep, Right here.

It is the best work I've done ever. I should just make everything I submit in one day.

EDEET: This is Important.

Behold! My internet is fast now. I switched from Dial Up to Verizon Broadband.

Anyone out there who has internet should know why this is a big deal for me.

PS: Why don't you visit more often?

I am not proud of these.

Posted by Wiiporter May. 3, 2008 @ 8:56 PM EDT

These are my old movies from when I did stop motion. I'm not proud of them, but they should be shown for relevance.

.

First one. I believe it's about second best to number 2:

.

Not a bad one, but the 3rd definitely is:

.

Yeah, at one time, I thought I would continue this. God, what a nightmare that would've been.

Anyways. Have fun with the rest of your life.

Ideas for the Future

Posted by Wiiporter Apr. 16, 2008 @ 4:16 PM EDT

This is just a list of things I'm thinking of doing:

Scripted Cartoons
I'm a little worried about this one. I can write it, don't get me wrong, but it would probably be longer than most of my cartoons (usually around 20-30 sec) and I have very little time to make larger movies. Perhaps a summer project?

Game Sprites
Er, if you've seen my recent BBS posts, you'll see that I have a ways to go on this one.

More Collabs
I enjoyed working on the Timewarp Collab, but I'm afraid of going on larger scale collabs, where my work will be lost into obscurity. Maybe I'll do a few more small scale collabs and work my way up.

Do More Music Videos, Cowarring at any changes
Always an option.

Here's a screen from my fbf expirament for the new Clock Crew website coming soon. I may post a trailer here, but it's a little short for that.

lol, DwarfinatorClock.

EDIT: lol fool'd. it Already exists :)

My Issue of the Week

Posted by Wiiporter Apr. 5, 2008 @ 8:51 PM EDT

I am working on a large fbf project that I promised would be done by the end of this month (for the new clock crew website- sorry, it's gonna be there and there only). Unfortunately, I have no possible way of getting it done in time, unless I quit school and lock myself in a room with padded walls and a computer. Either that, or I could take 2 frames off the framerate. It's currently 20 frames per second, but I'm thinking about dropping it to 18.

does this seem a little cut and run to any of you?

Voting Power confusion

Posted by Wiiporter Mar. 29, 2008 @ 3:30 PM EDT

This is a little bit confusing to me. I have almost 100 Blams and saves combined, and my voting power is still unaffected. When do I get that Blam/Save boost?

PS: http://www.clockcrew.cc/jchat/

Academy is going on and not alot of people are turning out. Help.
PPS: Yayz, town watch.

XPOgames FTW!

Posted by Wiiporter Feb. 13, 2008 @ 7:51 PM EST

Dear Wiiporter,

XPOGames.com is a new, gigantic community-website that pledges to dominate the casual gaming world in the near future. XPOGames offers a wide variety of casual games of all genres, for all ages and interests and is sharing revenues with developers like yourself.
We've been advised to contact you by people who've seen your work (on here) and appreciated it. We wanted to offer you to use XPOGames as a platform for your games because we think you have potential to make the next hit in the casual games world, as well as growing revenues from the games you've already developed.

As XPOGames' webmaster, I'd like to personally invite you to create a co-operation and join our site.

So, first things first, we're on the verge of going online. At the moment, we offer a previous version of the website, @ our domain - a kind of playground for our current members, as we verify the development of the new website. Meanwhile, we posted a contest you can enter and get a chance to win a Nintendo Wii(tm) system and/or a console games package worth approx. $1000.

Go check it out @ http://www.xpogames.com/contests/

By the way, if there is anything I can elaborate on, anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to mail me at info@xpogames.com - available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

More info on XPOGames.com:
Down to business, here is what you get:

Revenue Sharing - We equally split (50%-50%) all advertisement profits from the Google AdSense programs on your games' pages with you and we also hold special events/contests where you can win expensive, luxurious prizes and/or cash money as a chosen developer by the website's community.

Exposure - as a developer on our website, you will expose your creations to thousands of casual gamers, everyday. You will also be able to discuss your games with them. XPO will give you the tools to fine-tune your developments in real-time!

Job opportunities - XPOGames.com houses some of the world's leading casual & video gaming companies - checking its content for potential developers to join their ranks. That means - great games can get you a great work place.

As a game developer, XPOGames.com offers you more exposure & profit! Yes, with the amount of contests and our revenue sharing plan, you have endless possibilities to earn much more rating, credit and money for the work you've done.

We will offer you all the tools needed in order to create your game and have it seamlessly flow into our website. Our community also attracts large amounts of casual gamers to play and comment on your games - whether they'll be testing or enjoying a final release. The connection that's built between developers and their fans is down-to-earth and always available. This is extremely useful for you, the developer, as you will be able to receive constructive criticism, ask other developers for help or help others at any given time.

In addition, Our groups system allows you to stack up with other developers/audio-producers/graphic-des igners and form your own development group to create the ultimate game.

I hope this mail clears-up some information you needed to get started and, hopefully, it gave you a perspective about our website and the contest.
Be sure to check out the contest page to get the rest of the info you need.

We'll be launching on March, 2008 so don't forget to visit often, join and start earning.
Don't worry though, once you sign-up for the contest and upload your game, we will make sure to notify you when the new website goes live - So you don't have to jump-in everyyy day :)

Cya on the gamefloor! and thanks in advance,
